ECSTASY was made in the daylight. In the moments where the sun blinds and after-images flutter across. It was created out of the ripped pages of my notebook. In the moments before saying goodbye.

ECSTASY is a culmination of my personal growth, pain, and joy. This project began shortly after Moonlight was released, and was always intended to complete a trilogy. This project moves away from instrumental led music and focuses on lyrics. In essence, I'm shifting attention to my voice. The cover features a very hungover version of myself a day after my 25th birthday celebration. On one hand, the process for this EP was mindless fun. On the other, it's my most mature effort to date.

I went through a lot to get to where I am today. The plan was always to drop a trilogy of EPs. What I didn't know was that I'd be finishing my arch in better place than where I started. If ROJO felt like mania and moonlight felt like depression, ECSTASY feels like finally getting to enjoy life.

ECSTASY was created in my bedroom studio, but finished in an incomplete setup due to leech-ass landlords kicking me out of my space. Songs like QUEMEAMA burned my computer alive. I also got robbed at gunpoint before release date. Had that situation turned out differently, this would have been my last release. Maybe that's a sign to keep going. I know I won't always live in ECSTASY. I won't always be in the happiest moment in my life. But I've been to the bottom, and I found my way back up. I can always do it again.
